Award winning artists set to unveil new work at free summer celebration
Two Faced Twins are inviting everyone to raise a glass with them Friday July 28Worthing artists Two Faced Twins are celebrating their gallery's third anniversary and Best Art Gallery in Sussex award by Muddy Stiletto's, with an evening of entertainment.
Sisters and co-creators Gemma and Stella are hosting the summer event with live music, bubbly and snacks, alongside new homeware designs and unveiling of five new art pieces at their seafront gallery.
As a special gift they will also be hand-signing black and white mini-prints to anyone who has previously bought artwork, or for those who buy artwork at the event.
You’ll also be able to follow their journey from the past three years, with a timeline of milestones that will be dotted around the gallery, giving inspirational insight into how they have become established artists.
They said: “It hasn’t all been plain sailing. The gallery looked a lot different when we first moved in, back in 2020. The building hadn’t been occupied in quite some time and we’ve worked hard to rejuvenate it.
“It started as a big empty space containing just sawdust and mould. We spent days cleaning it, before putting up white sheeting and our own walls and lighting to show off our artwork. In the early days the space functioned just as a showroom for viewing the artwork, but over time it evolved into a shop, complete with reception area, Two Faced Twins signage and our homeware range.
“Fast-forward three years and it’s now a colourful hub of activity that enjoys a steady flow of visitors. Our seaside location is a real gift and having been born and raised in Worthing, we couldn’t think of a better place for our artwork to be shown, than at the heart and soul of the town. The gallery continues to develop as we do and we’re really excited for what the future holds.
“Our regular clients and first-time buyers have helped to make the gallery what it currently is and we’re so grateful for all the support. So, we just want to say thank you and we look forward to seeing you all at the event.”
The Two Faced Twins summer celebration will be held on July 28, 7-9pm at their Worthing seafront gallery on Marine Parade, opposite Steyne Gardens.
