Steampunk at Amberley Museum
Put on your top hat and frockcoat, leather and lace, and swagger up to Amberley Museum on the 13th and 14th of August for a weekend of Steampunk attitude and glamour. The industrial museum, with its fascinating collections of historical machinery, implements and vehicles, is the perfect place to soak up the steampunk atmosphere, strike a pose and get the camera whirring.
Setting the scene, Amberley's free-to-ride narrow gauge passenger train will be powered around the tracks by ‘Peter’, the early 20th century steam locomotive.
Meanwhile, crank up your steampunk style at the stalls run by specialist traders offering a range of post-apocalyptic gear and retrofuturistic devices.
Throughout the weekend there will be entertainment from performers including The Wattingers, Rapscallion, The Dark Design, Bear North, Humphrey & Maude, Dr Gray and more!
For tickets: Please pre-book your tickets online here: https://www.amberleymuseum.co.uk/whats-on/steampunk/
If time ticks on and you don't get to see everything at Amberley on the day, don't worry, there's a whole summer of other events ahead too:
Sunday 21st August – Communications Day
Saturday 27th to Monday 29th August – Ale at Amberley
Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September – Miniature Steam Weekend
